Shiloh Amphitheater Independence Day Celebration
"American Dreams"
Celebrate America's
birthday at the Shiloh amphitheater. Preparations are well underway to
bring another crowd-pleasing Fourth of July show to the neighborhood of
Kalona, IA.
This year, come and celebrate a nation that knows how to make dreams come
true. Experience the freedom found in the "new" land and the
dreams of tomorrow, the nostalgia of yesterday's Hollywood and the bright
lights of Broadway - all through music, dance and song.
After a year's hiatus due to a shortage in personnel resources, Shiloh
is pleased to host this celebration once again. "American Dreams"
is a fun, high-energy production brought to you by a volunteer cast and;crew
from California, Iowa, Hawaii and Canada, ranging from novices to entertainment
industry professionals.
The show ends with a spectacular musical fireworks display presented by
the Richmond Shooters.
Shiloh's "American Dreams" production and fireworks show will
take place on Tuesday, July 3rd due to other local celebrations scheduled
for July 4th. In case of heavy rain on Tuesday, an alternative show is
set for Wednesday, July 4th.
The show will begin at 9:00 PM in the Shiloh Amphitheater, located at
100 Shiloh Drive, off of Highway 1, just south of Kalona. Bench-seating and
lawn-seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. Remember
to bring a blanket if you prefer to sit on the grass. Doors will close
at 8:45 PM. Admission for the production and fireworks display is only
$5.00 per car load. Tickets can be purchased from Shiloh or at the gate.
Buy your tickets early to ensure admission!
